What the BOE Auction Portal is
The Auction Portal is the website of Spain's Official State Gazette (subastas.boe.es) where judicial, notarial and public-administration auctions have been held online since 2015. Each auction has a file with the description of the assets, the auction value, the appraisal, the managing authority and the official notices.
How to bid in a BOE auction
You sign in with a digital certificate or Cl@ve and register as a portal user. Then you lodge the deposit specified in the official file and bid online while the auction is open. Before bidding, check the participation conditions, deadlines and reserve options specified in the official file.
Deadlines and closing
Check the opening, closing and possible extensions in the official file. Deadlines and award rules depend on the procedure. The end of bidding is separate from the award: the managing authority processes it and determines the applicable payment obligations.
Auction value, appraisal and charges
The auction value is the reference price set by the authority; the appraisal is the valuation of the asset; charges are the debts or rights that stay attached to it after the auction. Always check the charges and the occupancy status before bidding.
